Iniziamo la carrellata dei 7 progetti d’artista che hanno segnato il lancio di Wall&decò with CARTEdition by AtemporaryStudio, collezione nata con l’intenzione di portare l’arte contemporanea a confrontarsi con un nuovo medium, la carta da parati, a favore di nuove soluzioni per l’abitare contemporaneo in cui l’arte diventa parte integrante della vita del singolo.

Con questa mission di allargamento dei confini dell’opera i sette artisti invitati, hanno ideato un vero e propio wallcovering, concepito come tale, per entrare a contatto con gli spazi più intimi e privati così come circondare spazi pubblici a favore di una funzione condivisa.

 

 

Quando chiesi a Fabrice Hyber se gli piacesse l’idea di realizzare una carta da parati mi rispose:

La diffusione è uno degli strumenti artistici… Ho vissuto in una casa nuova e antica con bellissime carte da parati e quando mi avete chiesto di realizzare questo progetto ho detto SÌ.

“Organic” è l’opera nonché la carta da parati che Fabrice Hyber ha realizzato per CARTEdition partendo da dipinto su tela, quasi delle stesse dimensioni, denso di concetti cardine della sua ricerca.

In Organic Hyber raffigura il ciclo della vita in cui la natura e l’uomo fanno parte dello stesso biotipo.

Chiunque vive, si nutre degli altri e dà nutrimento agli altri

Il soggetto raffigurato comprende un grande albero a cui l’uomo è collegato tramite il cordone ombelicale, Madre Natura che ci nutre e che dà la vita, potenza generatrice dalla quale non possiamo prescindere.
Sullo sfondo il ciclo del giorno e delle stagioni che scandisce la crescita e il decorso del tempo. Compaiono alcune parole, dei codici, messaggi che ci guidano all’interno delle sue raffigurazioni, un viaggio all’interno della sua mente che molto spesso si traduce in realtà.
La sensibilità e le intuizioni dell’artista infatti anticipano all’interno dei suoi dipinti fenomeni che con il tempo emergono nella realtà come delle rivelazioni.

 

 

Affasciato dall’osservazione sul campo e da studi legati alla biologia e alla scienze applicate, Fabrice Hyber considera i fenomeni naturali fonte di ispirazione oltre che di apprendimento. Lo dimostra la sua casa in Vandea in cui negli anni Hyber è riuscito a modificare il paesaggio circostante attraverso la semina di migliaia di alberi che hanno dato origine ad un bosco rigoglioso.
La semina al posto della piantagione, l’artista crede in questo atto duraturo, profondo e che dà vita a piante più forti e integrate nell’habitat, un concetto che più essere traslato in ambito sociale e culturale.

E’ lo stesso amore e passione per il confronto, la posizione di apertura verso la vita e le sue manifestazioni mutevoli che ha portato Fabrice Hyber a lavorare con e per il mondo delle imprese, considerandolo parte di un sistema direttamente collegato al mondo dell’arte e della cultura.

Da oltre 30 anni lavoro per dimostrare che il processo artistico è parte dell’arte. Gli artisti costruiscono modelli e nuovi comportamenti. L’unica possibilità di sfuggire alla rovina globale è considerare tutte le possibilità in cui l’arte diventa elemento della vita.

 

 

Un lavoro profondo che si è riproposto qui nella collaborazione con Wall&decò ma che ha una lunga storia segnata, fra i tanti progetti di rilievo, da due iniziative prevalenti: Les Realisateurs un percorso di formazione universitaria che ha portato giovani artisti a studiare al fianco di studenti di economia per preparare un futuro in cui l’arte possa essere considerata un driver economico e in cui la classe amministrativa abbia una sensibilità artistica oltre che un bagaglio culturale importante; ancora prima, Woolways nel 1999 – a producers and artists network – ideato da lui e realizzato con Zerynthya Associazione per l’Arte Contemporanea ODV  e altri partners istituzionali e privati. Woolways, letteralmente “vie della lana”, è un progetto di sensibilizzazione artistica volto a mettere in comunicazione l’arte con la vita, l’arte con l’economia, l’arte con la politica, attraverso le proposte reali degli artisti alle imprese europee.

Dobbiamo considerare tutte le possibilità per l’arte e il problema economico non deve essere un ostacolo.

L’energia positiva di questo grande artista, il suo genio, il colore e la vitalità che lo caratterizzano sono segni distintivi che donano a CARTEdition una spinta verso nuove frontiere e nuove destinazioni.

Let’s start the roundup of the 7 artist projects that marked the launch of Wall & decò with CARTEdition by AtemporaryStudio, a collection born with the intention of bringing contemporary art face-to-face with a new medium, wallpaper, favouring new solutions for contemporary living where art becomes an integral part of the individual’s life.

With this boundary-expanding mission the seven invited artists, have devised a real wallcovering, conceived as such, to come into contact with the most intimate and private spaces as well as to surround public spaces inthe service of a shared function.

 

 

When I asked Fabrice Hyber if he liked the idea of making a wallpaper, he replied:

Diffusion is one of the artistic tools… I lived in a new old house with beautiful wallpapers and when you ask me for this project I said YES

“Organic” is the art piece, as well as the wallpaper, Fabrice Hyber created for CARTEdition starting from a work painted on canvas almost of the same size as the wallpaper format (5,40 m x 3,60 ), a representative work, dense with the concepts key to his research.

Hyber portrays on the wall the cycle of life in which nature and man are part of the same biotype.

Whoever lives, feeds on others and feeds others

The subject depicted includes a large tree to which man is connected via the umbilical cord, mother nature that feeds us and gives us life, a generating power which we cannot ignore.
In the background, the cycle of the day and of the seasons that marks the passage of time and growth. A few words can be seen, often the artist includes writing inside his works – they are codes, messages, which guide us inside his representations, a journey inside his mind that very often translates into reality.
The artist’s sensitivity and intuitions in fact anticipate phenomena within his paintings that over time emerge in reality like revelations.

 

 

Captivated by field observation and studies related to biology and applied sciences, Fabrice Hyber considers natural phenomena to be a source of inspiration as well as of learning. He has put this into practice at his house in the Vendée, where over the years Hyber has managed to adapt the surrounding landscape by sowing the seeds of thousands of trees that have given rise to a luxuriant forest.
Sowing instead of planting, the artist believes in this long-lasting, profound act that gives birth to stronger and more integrated plants in the habitat, a concept that can also be translated into a social and cultural context.

It is the same love and passion for visualising parallels, the position of openness towards life and its changing manifestations that led Fabrice Hyber to work with and for the business world, considering it part of a system directly linked to the world of art.and culture.

I worked for more than 30 years to show the process of art is a part of art. Artist build models and new behaviours. The only possibility to escape the global ruin, is to consider all the possibility of art as an element of life.

 

A profound work that has been repeated here in the collaboration with Wall & decò but which has a long history marked, among the many important projects, by two prevalent initiatives: Les Realisateurs, a university training course that led young artists to study alongside economics students to prepare for a future in which art can be considered an economic driver, and in which the administrative class has an artistic sensitivity in addition to culturally important baggage; Woolways in 1999 – a producers and artists network – created with Zerynthia Association for Contemporary Art ODV and Michelangelo Pistoletto – Cittadellarte Foundation. Woolways, literally “streets of wool”, is an artistic awareness project aimed at connecting art with life, art with the economy, art with politics, by means of genuine overtures from artists to European businesses.

We have to consider all the possibilities for art and the economic problem should not be a barrier

The positive energy of this great artist, his genius, the colour and vitality that characterize him are distinctive signs that give CARTEdition a push towards new frontiers and new destinations.
