Da qualsiasi parti inizi per presentare Cristina Coral, alla fine ritorno sempre al punto di partenza azzerando ogni parola.

Raccontare il suo lavoro su questo journal non ha alcun significato. Cristina è una fotografa sublime che è stata raccontata, mostrata, celebrata in così tante riviste che non sarà questo post ad aggiungere nulla a quanto è già stato scritto.

Piuttosto sento l’urgenza di raccontare perché Cristina è stata la persona alla quale abbiamo chiesto di connotare la comunicazione del nostro studio e in particolare di www.atemporarystudio.com.

Non è la vicinanza geografica, che sicuramente ha aiutato, (ovunque il lavoro ci porti, alla fine Trieste rimane “il luogo”) a rafforzare un sodalizio che va avanti da anni. È piuttosto una vera e propria fascinazione estetica per la sua fotografia.

A guardarla tutta d’un fiato, la produzione di Cristina è coerente, lineare nel senso più profondo del termine perché priva di dubbi sul percorso da prendere. I suoi soggetti, i suoi interior così vintage e così delabré, le tonalità pacate rimandano a un passato sempre meno recente. Ma è alle pose oziose, così poco celebrative, ai volti nascosti, ai dettagli delle mani che non abbiamo saputo resistere.

Hidden Beaty, Do not disturb, AnOther Portrait, Preservation, Once upon a time, Stratification, Alternative perspective… sono solo alcuni dei cicli fotografici sviluppati da Cristina negli anni e periodicamente arricchiti, variati, aggiornati.
Titoli che sembrano usciti dal nostro vocabolario quotidiano per una modalità di rappresentazione che ci appartiene.

Un fermo immagine cristallizzato nel tempo ma così contemporaneo. Così Atemporary!

Wherever I start to introduce Cristina Coral, at the end I always return to the starting point by resetting every word.

Describing her work on this journal is unnecessary. Cristina is a sublime photographer, described, shown and celebrated in so many magazines that this post will not add anything to what has already been written.

However, I feel the need to explain why Cristina is the person we asked to connote the communication of our firm and in particular of www.atemporarystudio.com.

It is not the geographical proximity – that has certainly helped because wherever work takes us, in the end Trieste is our place – that has strengthened a partnership that has been going on for years. It is rather a real aesthetic fascination for her photography.

When we look at Cristina’s work, we immediately recognize that it is coherent, literally linear because she has no doubts about the path to take. Her subjects, her vintage and delabré interiors and the calm shades refer to an increasingly less recent past. But what we could not resist were the scantly celebratory idle poses, the hidden faces and the details of the hands.

Hidden Beauty, Do not disturb, AnOther Portrait, Preservation, Once upon a time, Stratification, Alternative perspective … are just some of the photographic cycles developed by Cristina over the years and periodically enriched, varied and updated. Titles that seem to come out from our daily vocabulary for a model of representation that belongs to us.
